Arden, I'm sure that the Truman firmware has to be modified in a very specific way to work on an SL65 B1. The link provided by TrumanCapote is not what you need.

Please read right through this thread before you brick your box:

Yes the firm has to be modified. For that you use the autopatch TRUMAN_1.3.76_AUDIO-FIX_COMAG_PATCHER available on sat-ulc. Is very simple. Only you have to do is change the name of the last firm to "truman_EMU_1.3.76_AMSTAR" and put it on the paste TRUMAN_1.3.76_AUDIO-FIX_COMAG_PATCHE and then run the bath file.

Without any kind of arrogance I think that the link I have mentioned is in fact what you need. because on there you can always get the last tools and firmwares for Truman 190X. You can rest that this firm will not brick anything.
But it's better that you follow the advices of solunauk. He is more older on this forum than me and certainly has more credit.

Greetings

I didn't mean to tread on your toes, TrumanCapote - I'm a beginner at this and you certainly know more than me. I was just afraid that Arden might patch his box with unmodified firmware.

Damonfeuer pointed out on another thread that the batch file you mention is an attempt to automate the modification of new Truman releases for use with the SL65 B1.

However, he also said that there is a .abs file on sat-ulc, known as Vampire, that can be directly uploaded to the SL65 without further modification (although as is well known, you need a universal remote with the right key to operate it).

I hope I've got that right!

Just to say that there's a new firm on sat-ulc that works with the original remote of SL65.
