Is there any difference between the firmware in *.abs format than *.bin format? The reason I ask is for loading via Jtag instead of RS232 for the S1003 which doesn't have one. Could you just change the extension and load it via Jtag?

No I haven't tried it as the Truman seems pretty good with the AU & Prem. Is the SL65aMod bin file better? I/ve just tried your autoscan fixed 1.3.78 on the SL65/12 and it's scanning now without crashing. Nice work. Once I've scanned all the sats I'll backup it up via Jtag as a bin file and flash it to the S1003. Of course I could just try changing the extension and see what happens.....

I'm sure I've used a file comparison program before to compare patch files but I can't remember what it was called.

Please read carefully these threads from beginning to end:

Mod Truman for SL65(B1-6pin)

Comag SL65_B1 to Yumatu 190x IQ

They should help you to get things sorted. If not, please come back here.

What firmware did you use and what chips does your receiver have? Look under the heatsink and also it may help to know what the other chips say on them.

Also the original Truman files often don't have any channels stored so you need to go to the channel menu and scan for channels.

I've got Silvercrest SL65 /ALI -M3329-B1/6 pin .I downloaded from German site truman emu
1.3.79 and worked.Polsat au,tps au,premiere au,but left with problem on display.I tried another one that says d+ au and wasn't compatible and now downloaded
again 1.3.79 and says no signals.I tried everything. The program got already channels.
But says no signals.Another thing I can see is when I download anything to the receiver, the display does not flash how used to be.Please I need help.
Thanks

When you loaded 1.3.79 for the second time did you select allcode+bootloader in the drop-down list of the loader? That may make a difference. D+ is not AU on any firmware as far as I know, so don't chase after that.

Good luck!

I don't think the display works with the Truman mod.

Does your remote work?
When you switch on the receiver using the remote do the menus and tv display work? If they do then it sounds like it has loaded ok.
Daft question but have you checked the sat cable is connected to lnb IN not OUT?
Check the channels your trying to look at are for the same satellite your dish is pointed at and use a free to air channel such as Premiere Direkt on Astra1 19.2E
You could also try a fresh channel scan
