Default DAVE

I have just noticed that Dave the new name for UKG2 is not free on sky, even though it is on freeview. If you have a freeview card you have to call them up and it will cost you £1 per month.

Pity they couldn't do the same for Sky1.

Are you sure ? I think its a quid a month if you are a subscriber but dont have the pack with Dave in it. If you are a FTV'er then the minimum subs is 15 quid a month for one pack

Well now I look at the on screen message again on my spare box with FTA sky card. ops:

"Dave is the home of witty banter :? with quizcoms, cars and comedies. Sky CUSTOMERS can get this channel and more for £1 extra per month"

Thats stupid, but then you cant get E4 or more 4 on free sky but you can on Freeview, maybe they are still tied into a contract.
