Default Sogecable's new offer from December

Sogecable will begin offering its new package 'Trío+' from December.

The package consists of Digital+'s channels, traditional telephony and internet access, with the platform offering triple play services to its clients for the first time. This offer is a consequence of the agreement signed last summer between the audiovisual company and Spain's largest telco Telefónica to exchange content and services.

Sogecable's management has "great expectations" of this new product.

"We are sure this will help us to increase our subscriber base and at the same time to increase our income," management told financial analysts.

As for Sogecable's terrestrial free-to-air channel Cuatro, Sogecable believes the channel will reach break even during this quarter. By Q1 2008 the company hopes to the channel will turn a profit - providing its present eight per cent audience share holds.
