Just a quick note from me.

I'll be stepping down as admin as part of the new arrangements, but will stay on as moderator to enjoy the banter and fun on the reformatted forum.

I've very much enjoyed running Satellite Help over the last year and a half or so, and I'd like to personally thank everyone for the fun we've had and the support you've given me.

The forum will continue in its current format, but on the vBulletin setup currently used by Techwatch, so please continue to enjoy the boards.

Your membership will be carried over fine, but your password will need resetting. I'll provide a direct link for that in the email announcement, and if there are any problems, I'll get the password reset manually for you.

Believe me the staff have asked many question of Brian over the last 48 hours since we found out. He says our content will be merged in pretty much as is. (TW has very little satellite content at the moment - go and have a look - you can browse without registering)

For the most part, the Satellite boards are just going to slot in fine and unchanged into Techwatch. There may be a slight re-arrangement of a couple of boards, ie, IPTV and HDTV into a general home digital section, but aside from that, no drastic change to the board structure planned.

I rarely post on this site, so I seriously doubt ill sign up to this new one, simply due to the fact I don't like the content here all that much any longer.

Good luck mind you.
