i'm a newbie, hi everyone.

I've have a opensky olympec receiver (you've probably never heard of it)that i used ok for Art last season but have bought a digitalb card that i was told would work in this receiver. Set it all up and none of the premium channels worked (just says scrambled) even though card is a premium supersport, but digitalb 5-8 worked at first for a couple of days but now nothing. Have i done anything wrong? any help would be much appreciated, its doin my nut in, wanna watch footy sunday

Sounds like it needs to update.

If it worked on Digitalb 5 to 8 then the receiver obviously reads the card ok. Have you left it on Digi+ for a few hours? Or on Premium 1

That will allow the card to be updated, magner.

As Jim says, leave it on Digi+ or Premium 1 for a few hours and it should clear.

I leave mine on Digi+ over night, just to be sure it doesn't miss an update

what you saw was a preview period before the card gets the activation signal

you did contact the seller for them to get the card switched on ?

no i haven't, didn't know you had to do that, never did it with ART.

I've left digi+ on for about 12 hours now and still nothing,i shall contact seller.

will let you know what happens

I thought that this receiver has a viaccess only card reader, not conax.

You may need to get the card suppliers to get another activation code sent through. I took nearly three days to get mine activated
