Hiya Moose,

Depends what sort of budget you're looking at and what features you would like. Card reader? CI (Common Interface, for inserting 'cams')? USB port? PVR/ PVR Ready? High Definition (although their ain't much to watch ATM)? Patchable (Allows you to view a little more than just FTA )?

If you'd like to post a question in the 'beginners' section, where it will get noticed more, then I'm sure you'll get all the advice you need

Kev
