Just an additional note. You can load .abs full flash files (make sure they are 2048kb files not patch files) directly via jtag by just changing the extension to .bin. I've just done it for the Truman 1.3.80 file patched with universal fixer 0.9 and it seems to work fine. So now you won't have to wait for me to load it to my SL65/12 then read it back by jtag as a .bin file.

Hi
Also you have a non patched 1.3.80 (.abs) switched on a SL65/12 B1 by Jtag
and then you are make a Dump to youre PC as .bin File?
Why??? The SL65/12 B1 load .abs. Why you are convert it? You cannot a 1.3.80.bin on a SL65 E1 switching!! Or have I understand it?

Hi TBX Thanks for your channel modified file by the way.

The S1003/12 has no RS232 port and is an Ali B chip (in mine anyway). Therefore the only way to patch it is to load new firmware via Jtag. I've been loading my SL65/12 using the .abs firmware and then reading it back via Jtag to "convert" it to a bin file for loading to the S1003/12. Previously I did a hex compare on an abs and bin file and they weren't quite the same so I was using the laborious route. I decided this time to give it a go with just changing the extension so that flaps would recognise it as a Bin file. It seems to work fine so now people won't have to wait for me to "convert" it for S1003/12 when new firmware gets released.

Is that any clearer?

Regards
