Default Clocks Go Back - How it Effects Sat TV.

Clocks Go Back tonight in the majority of the world except the US and maybe Canada and parts of the middle east.

So expect any US broadcast to air 1 hour earlier for any live broadcast.

Example: CNBC is now airing NBC Nightly News at 10:30 instead of 11:30.

Shows on MBC channels and Dubai One will also start an hour earlier than during BST.

Cheers

Just to clear up as well:

At 2.00 am BST (1.00 am GMT) on 28 October 2007 the clocks will move back by an hour as civil time returns from British Summer Time (BST) to Coordinated Universal Time (almost identical to Greenwich Mean Time or GMT).

A lot of people think the clocks go back at 1am BST, that's wrong

It's really bad when you have kids - past couple of days they've been tired and grouchy, and so have we. Hopefully a few more days and our body clocks will have adjusted to the new routine.

I wish Eutelsat would make sure the time streams on EB1 are correct - at least one of the transponders is 4 hours fast which causes havoc on my Technomate as the TM clock syncs to the transponder time stream!

I wish the blooming "latest technological" advancements were as good as the olde stuff.
Three satellite receivers with time auto update, yet not one changes to the correct time, post end of BST,yet the old video recorder, dutifully updates,as magic.
