TM1000D won't patch

Perhaps there is something wrong with your com port or lead? or even your box, assuming that you have the correct loader. Might be worth a try with the official loader from the TM website.
Do you have another PC you could try it with?

Hi Robbo,

Nano's trick is the same as the advice TM support gave me and didn't really do anything. The lead is the same one i used before, as is the PC.

I don't have another PC with a serial port but can probably borrow one and that will be the next step i suppose to see if anything has gone wrong with my PC settings or whether it is the box.

Haven't had any further advice from TM support yet.

good news - it's sorted!

managed to connect to another PC and it worked.

problem is with my PC but i haven't been able to find out what (it used to work OK)

if its your serial ports on the mother board check the device manager in windows and reinstall the motherboard drivers if needed that should work
