Hi all,
Getting a new phone and have narrowed it down to 2: Nokia N95 or LG KU990 Viewty Which one would people recommend? N95 has wi-fi and GPS but is reportedly very buggy. KU990 looks very slick but has less features than the Nokia. More reliable though. Help!! Thanks. |

Have you used the N95? From what I've read about it, people seem to be having a lot of problems with the N95. The firmware is supposedly unstable and keeps crashing and the GPS connection isn't very good either. I've got a Nokia at the moment and I'm not very happy with it as t also keeps crashing and Nokia buld quality seems to have gone seriously down hill.

What's wrong with the Nokia N95??
Nokia N95 5-Megapixel Camera Phone Released Not seen any reports on bug issues, but would definitely be interested in finding out about possible firmware and GPS problems. |

I've had a N95 for almost the first week it was released, it's on the Vodaphone network and so far has been trouble free. The GPS works fine but is a little slow to initially get a connection. I've dropped it a few times and it still works ok!
Saying that my mate has one on the Orange network and has gone through about four phones due to different software faults. Hope this helps but in summary, I'm more than happy with mine. |

Thanks for the responses.
The problems I've read about are just what I found searching on google (customer reviews). Main complaint seems to be about the software. Maybe a case of trying to do too much when the phone isn't powerful enough. Like I said, this seems to be an on going problem with Nokia as my current phone is the same (6280) and other people I know with Nokias (various models) aren't very happy with them either. I'm fairly careful with my phone too and the front face just fell off mine after a few weks use. Unfortunately I had a long contract so am only just in a position to change it. Personally, the only thing stopping me getting the LG is a lack of wi-fi. Then again, I'm not even sure I'll use the wi-fi capability as I can get unlimited web access as part of the deal with the LG. Decisions decisions...
