shrinking mini dish
I posted on here somewhere that I thought mini dishes were shrinking. Well I was up on the roof today polishing and winterising the 65cm dish I use for sky and decided to get the tape measure. The 2 mini dishes I use for Astra 1 and hotbird are from around 2000/2001 with the big grundig LNB's they measure 53cm x 43cm. In the shed I have a newer mini dish (not sure from what year) with a Cambridge LNB and that measures 53cm x 39cm. Now I know they look smaller on a wall but the one my son has just had fitted by sky looks even smaller. The edges of the old dish's are much bigger too.
