Mac addy need help, been tiring for hours now - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

hi all,

i have brought a Motorola Surfboard SB5101E Modem (Upgraded Firmware) Hacked from ebay. it say i just need to changed the mac addy. my area is
******.cable.ubr06.perr.blueyonder.co.uk.
my moms area is
******.cable.ubr02.perr.blueyonder.co.uk

so i used the DHCP and sniffing, i found one cm-20480-768,

but i dont know what to do from now, please could some1 help me.

I think you need some software on your pc so then you can connect your modem to it and alter the settings? im not too sure though could do with some help myself

dont use a mac addy from your own area.
