Hi Guys,
I've recently moved into a flat that has a Sky+ dish on the wall. The flat company is now saying that no Sky dishes can be put on the wall, so I have to take it down. I was wondering if anyone had a similar problem, and have come up with an alternative e.g. Free Stand with dish attached to stand on balcony etc. Thanks! Dve |

Hi dve,
Welcome to the forum. Yes, I have seen a number of freestanding stands for satellite dishes. satellitesuperstore do them, they are for camping use. You can also get patio mounts, that use paving slabs to hold them down. You might also be able to fashion some sort of clamp, to clamp your dsh to the handrail. I think the site sponsor www.southernsatellite.co.uk also does some camping stuff. If you have a good view of the satellite (28.2E), and it's for a single dish, any of the above would work theoretically. I have even heard of people using a parasol base and pole to put their dish on. Robbo
