Default Selfsat System

Hi,
I am new to this forum site, this may have been talked about already but has anybody bought or any info on the Selfsat Satellite system, White Flat box that can pick up all the satellite at the same time? Thanks

Wow. I've just taken a look at this, it looks VERY interesting.

I'm gonna do some more research now

Well from what I can see it looks nothing like the picture. It sits on a pole or stand and has to be adjusted, I can also find nothing that says it will pick up more than one satellite at the same time

ive never heard of that type of system before and never heard of a satelitte system doing that

Yes, I agree madrat. Only one satellite can be received at once. I've just watched the extremely boring installation video, and looked at the manual.
The elevation, azimuth and skew all have to be adjusted for the satellite you want, just like a normal dish. The only advantage I can see is it's size.
It would be interesting to know how it really compares to a standard parabolic dish though.

it looks very flimsy to me. If I went for a flat dish I would go for something like this

Technisat Dish

or

Flat Plate Satellite Antenna
