unable to receive some channels

howye folks ,just got a new eurobox, scanned a couple of times, but still unable to get a signal ,from sky premier, 1 and 2, any thoughts,my old box(1 yr old) all lights were flashing ,and err ? came on screen of box, but never thought to take a note of it, so i unplugged it, and it hasnt powered up since ,anyone of you techie folk have any idea, i tried my basic knowledge, basically changed fuse, in plug, - swapped power cable, still to no joy opened box up to see if it had an internal fuse ,nope, would like to see if this could be fixed to link it into my daughters rooms

does the eurovox have one of the cards with it like all of the other boxes like sky etc?

have you done a full power scan, are you sure the channels arnt there in a different place. the old box if its not powering up at all (dead) sounds like its had it.

no it hasnt a card m8, my last box had these channels, and this new one is a brand new 2008 model, ive tried a scan a couple of times, is a power scan a diferent method,? and thanks for the quick replys folks much appreciated ,from the new guy,

was your old box a clone? re new box not sure if its like a starview and needs emu key switched on?
