Default Angolan PSB Channels at 36°E

Angolan PSB Channels at 36°E

Frequency: 11689
Polarity: Horizontal
Symbol Rate: 11574
Provider: MulitChoice Angola
Language: Mostly Portuguese, I've heard African languages too I think.

Signals weaker than the rest of the bird which leads me to believe it might be a over powered African beam - I know its unlikely but why else is it there.

Thanks to Alex over on alexmusic.net - Television Pages for the info for these Analoguesat.

They are very weak compared to the rest of the channels on 36e, this is the furthest south I've seen a regular channels from Africa!

The voice over guy for promos sounds nearly identical to the voice over guy from RTP in Portugal, I guess there's RTP Portuguese just like there's BBC English.

Okay signal on a 105cm dish here in South Wales, I can understand why your not getting anything on a 80cm dish that far north I doubt a 105cm would pull it in there.

AH well it was worth a try. Its cloudy here today as well which wont help. It was worthwhile going outside though as Ive finally got my 9E lnb lashed up to the 13E dish. Just need to run the coax along the fence this afternoon now to the 8 way switch.

Signal level on the 1500CI is now 51% so that's 10% added since them shots were taken.

TPA1 - Showing some football game
TPA2 - Showing some dubbed Telenovela.
