Talking Adding lnbs to a dish.

Normally you would think about a proper offset lnb holder. Like in this first couple of pics. Note the left most lnb is held in place by garden wire as the top of the bracket was missing out of my junk box!

Also that something with muddy feet had been perched on top of 2 of the lnb's!

Left to right on my Orbital 1m dish:

28E (yellow cap)
23.5E
16E (main focus)

However, occasionally you can get away with a bodge job

The right hand lnb is strapped to my Hotbird 13E lnb to give me excellent reception of Eurobird 9 at 9E.

The upwards facing zip ties are to stop bird perching on this lnb as its fairly easy to move. BTW - no the left hand lnb case isnt broken - the air up here is so clean there is lichen growing on the case (We also have lichen growing on various hidden bits of the car!)

BTW - I know a couple of the lnb's need self amalgam tape tape - that will get sorted soon.

Hey if they work then that is the whole point! Why pay extra if you can adapt the parts your self!

Blue peter would be proud of you!
