Default Setting up USALS

Just a little confused about how to correctly enter my Latitude and Longitude,

The map say that I am at Lat: 51.62628 Long: -0.03828

Now in the TM5200 Usual settings it is

00.0 W / 00.0 N

How do I translate the above long and lat to that?

Thanks for any help

Dan

Hi m8,

It should go 51.6 N and 00.0 W I would imagine

Those settings make 1w almost perfect for setting up on.

Hi,

I'm not sure how many digits after the decimal point you can put in ( I think it might be two, then again it might be one),

so that would be

0.04W/51.63N ( 2 decimal places)

or

0W/51.6N ( 1 decimal place)

west is negative, east is positive.

Latitude is how far north or south you are.

Longitude is how far east or west you are.

By the way, drs101, you now have two IDs you have 'imported drs101' as well. I will ask brian to merge them with your password being the drs101 one.
