Hi I am thinking about getting a modem from ebay what is the best one to get for modding the firmware?

The SB4xxx series are probably the easiest, the 250 is the most common. There has been an attack on the 250's recently. Some SB's have gone down as well, but none with Hackware installed apparently

why bother with ebay you won't go wrong by looking at
