Updated Truman EMU

Now on version 1.3.79 AMSTAR - found on Yumatu Software section on A-l-s-a-t. Also on Truman support.

Claims AU on T*P*S, P*lsat, maybe others. Haven't tried it myself.

NB, this FW will need modifying in accordance with Andsly's instructions here: Mod Truman for SL65(B1-6pin)

just patched it and uploading it to the box now .. will let you know how it goes .

ok well for me on my sl65/12 all went well untill i finished my scan . everyting was clearing ok until i tried the audio......no sound even when patched...so its back to the older flash for the time beeing untill it is sorted or a new patcher is ready.

Was hoping that the Ali firmware fixer would be good for future releases, but no doubt someone will be on the case as we speak. After all we are talking about an expensive box here.

Sorry to hear you had a problem. Will hold fire myself until this update proves worth it. I notice it hasn't appeared on Nachtfalke yet, so maybe someone knows something we don't....

They must have heard your pain, Yorks - there is now ALi_Universal-Fixer_v0.7b on DVB upload dated 7/11/07. Fast work, huh?

No idea if it will address the sound problem Andy had, but I'm sure he'll find that out

I've just uploaded it on my box and it seems to be working fine.

I used Aliminiupg3.exe which you can get from truman-support, tools section. It has the advantage that it preserves your channel data when you upload a new FW. CAUTION: If this is the first time your box is being updated to Truman EMU, better use the full upgrader as supplied in Andy's upload.
