Default Fast Feeds for Sports

Hi All
This is my first post on here so I hope you will forgive my ignorance of Sat terminology, and If I explain anything in simple terms just remember it is me who is simple when it comes to these matters!

I am a sports gambler who makes his living betting in play on Betfair.com. I am slighty unusual in that I dont bet on sports or football, but pretty much anything else, mostly Darts, snooker, cricket, Rugby and Golf. I used to do Tennis, but we will come to that later.

For those of you that may not be familiar with betfair, there is a delay of either 5 or 3 seconds between you placing your bet on the exchange and it appearing. This is designed to protect punters from people at venues betting against them and people with faster pictures than them. Unfortunately these delays are not always sufficent to protect punters.

As i am sure you are all aware, the delay on pictures transmitted by Sky sports is usually around about 3.5 seconds. On Eurosport it can be over 5 seconds.

I am aware that for the last 3 years or so, many of the Full time pro bettors have invested in satellite dishes that have enabled them to get an edge over the market of 1.5 seconds or so. This may not sound a great deal, but you will have to take my word for it that this is significant, especially in Tennis and Darts. The other sports that I do are not as much as a problem as there are always plenty of safe spots in the game when I can trade and am not at risk from those with quicker pictures than myself.

As I have mentioned, I am no longer able to turn a profit from Tennis betting due to the amount of people with quick Satellites. However, It was apparent from the last darts tounament that I need to aquire a system In order to protect myself from those who travel to venues and bet from there.

I am going to have installed a 1 metre motorised dish and a Quali tv QS 1080IR. This is because it is the only box I can find that will handle feed such as these in 4:2:2
Feeds TV par satellite forums fréquences et images - Satelliweb

The problem I have is that I am uncomfortable relying on postings on the satelliteweb forum to find the feeds when I get the system. What I really need to know is some sort of Idiots guide to feedhunting. Is there any equipment or software I can purchase that will make this task easier. I am computer literate but technically illeterate. I believe that a fair amount of the tennis feeds are not placed on there as they are sought after by the earlier entrants to this market. Any advice on where I may acquire these would be appreciated.

The other question I have is about encryption of these feeds. Some of the ones that I am interested in are encrypted, but many are not. I am not sure I am allowed to talk about breaking this on the forum, so I wont. When they are encrypted I am I likely to still be able to hear the sound? Do you believe that the feeds are likely to be encrypted in the future? They are quite low value as far as sports broadcasts go, but if it is easy to do the broadcasters may encrypt them.

My other question concerns my choice of box. The quali is old and when I have spoken to sat people it has a poor reputation. Is there any alternative that will be able to handle 4:2:2 Feeds at some sort of sensible price.

Thanks very much for any help or advice that anyone can give.
