Default sb4100 problems

Hi , I hav ebeen having problems with my hacked sb4100 hacked modem , keeps restarting .. i get connected then its disconnects .. i was wondering if there is a fix for this like new software or summin , or has virgin blocked them ?

Wrong section m8,go to modem section you'll see that VM have bricked a lot of modems,yours included probably.

That sounds like your MAC is already in use in your UBR - you need a MAC from a neighbouring UBR to work.

Having the same problem here and im sure the mac isnt in use already as its a freinds from a diferent ubr
Some times in can b connected or hours and others it just gets kicked right back off

Hi chef, did you check when yours goes off is your mates on or off,could be vm have some way of knowing whentwo modems are using same mac, even on different ubrs, just a thought.

My m8 is on 24/7 same as myself its very strange cause since i made this post it hasnt went of once. I think it might have been something to do with i changed the mac and config files while the coax was plugged in. I was being greedy trying to get tround the 5mb trafic shapping stuff but all seems good now
