Default Taking the plunge!!!

After a lot of reading of the forum I’ve decided to take the plunge and buy myself a programmer – USB infinity unlimited!

It should arrive in a few days and I’ll get on trying to programme my first card.

I’ve got a chipped sammy and I’d usually get the card re-done when ever it goes down but since my contacts gone bye bye, I decided to give it ago myself. So all I’m doing is re-programming my existing funcard 4. I’ve got the IRD and box key already, so from what I’ve read and been told it should be pretty straight forward! – I HOPE!!! Haha

Can anyone just confirm what files and software I would need for the card when I get the programmer? If there’s already a TUT out there on this – apologies – please point me in the right direction!

Ta and thanks again,

Geo99

You should get the software with your programmer..

Then you will need - Toxic 7 + Choes v3, depending on the tutorial you following.

I would recommend the Charlie Senators Tutorial, but instead of RHV1 you will be using Toxic 7, and enter the IRD + BK straight rather than backwards...

All files are in the FTA Download Section.

Thanks for the quick reply mate.

I've read your FUNCARD TUT for about the 7th time! My heads melted reading all this stuff but I think it's finally sinking in! haha

I've done a search for 'Charlie Senators Tutorial' but can't find it.

Do you have a link mate?

Ta

if your contact has already got a funcard in your box it may just need the flash rewritten.

I forgot to mention, you will also need swapbinhex to convert the bin file into a hex file.

Its the same method mate with most of the programmers... the 2nd tutorial is a lot easier to follow.
