Unhappy How do I find a working mac address?

Hi,
I have got myself a modified modem, this is an armbit 200. It has been flashed and I dont know where to go to from here, any info that can be given would be appreciated. I am not that technical so I get myself a bit confused when it comes to something like this .

have you got any mates or relatives that live about 2 miles from you?

if so, you can use a couple of programs to sniff macs from thier house

DHCP_Force and DHCP_Sniffer

you need to find out which UBR you are on, and what your mate is on

this is an excellent site to find your ip and ubr
IP Address Lookup (IPv4 & IPv6)

you will need different ubr's
like this below, the shef part needs to be the same, but will be different in your area unless your shef too, and the ubr needs to be different, like me i'm ubr01 and my mate is ubr04, this works well for me

xx-xx-xx-xx.cable.ubr01.shef.blueyonder.co.uk
xx-xx-xx-xx.cable.ubr04.shef.blueyonder.co.uk

then once you have some mac's from their area you can proceed to put it in your modem, the guides are available here,- p

and theres some tools available which will do everything for you
Configurators, Am(cho)Bit Configurator 0.971beta, will work for you
