I saw a directly focused dish somewhere the other day. It was noticable because of the angle dish angle. Are ofsets better and does anyone on here have a direct focused dish? Pictures would be good.

I haven't got one but for small dishes the offset dishes are better, simply because the LNB and holder etc do not shadow the dish. For larger dishes the shadowing is insignificant.

Here is my 150cm IRTE dish set on 1W for the time being also my 60cm mesh dish which I use for 10E and 7E and my main dish which is the motorised 80cm dish 28E to 13E and 5W to 30W (can't get anything on this dish between 13E and 5W due to obstacles)

OK, Here's a couple from me. The large 3.7m mesh dish is my old C Band setup and is currently unused. You can just about see my 1.5m motorised and 80cm fixed (SKY) dish.
The inside shot shows the TM1000, TM6900, Echostar HDD7000 and SkyHD together with D-Box2, Surround AMP, HTPC and Tosh 42" HD LCD - not to mention the Andruw Jones figure

Neaten up the cable - you don't know me
![]() The C Band could get from 70E to 58W, including noise free pictures when PAS4 launched to 68E and the Zone beams on 58W used for the Calgary Winter Olympics. Only got very brief use with Digital, I seem to remember getting about 40 South American channels from 41W
