100cm over the garage, The bottom of my garden has the meeting of four garages so I didn’t think anyone would be too upset however the sudden appearance of a large dark grey disk was a little obvious. I have stippled the back of he dish (not the front) with pale paint colours and this considerably softened the look. The mounting is angle iron bolted through the pre-cast garage wall using 8 x 8mm bolts, I used cut up sections of mouse mat to protect the pebbledash.
Only been up a couple of weeks and subject to so many tweaks but getting a little better each day.

Excellent job ymike, lke the finiel touch on the top of the pole.

Did you drop the dish by any chance? It might be the photo, but at the bottom left of the photo it looks like the rim is a bit squashed.

I doubt he can see Winter Hill from the Scottish Borders, unless he has remarkable eyesight

Does this look ok.

I've not loaded it all up yet but think i'll get from about 10W to more or less the horizon on E

I know the dish would have been better on the side of the house but what you cant see is there is a river there. Also, obstructions from about 10W to 40ish W

I'll finish off cutting the bolts tomorrow, is was starting to go dark when we got to this point.

Pic of receiver/TV set up to follow.
