after reading some posts it seems i can obtain the ird code from the engineers menu,
so 1-how do i enter the eng menu 2-what page is it on.cheers

ps i have the bk code already

unplug the box hold in the up and down buttons until it goes in to eng menu simple

on page 2 or 3 look at the nagra serial code.
In windows calculator scientific mode type in the first 10 digits missing off the last 2 then click the hex button and it will give you your ird

na, on sammy 2100 it always starts with 3e

pace ird starts with 12, and sammy start with 3E.

Thanks I think I got the IRD now,

when I convert the long Bar code no which start with 104 on the back of the box, via same method, it gives me 16digit code, is that the BK by any change.

I'll try prog & see whats happens.

bar code ?, dont think they are bk for the box, if it comes with paired then read that, or u will need to jtag.

I have had lot of trouble reading box via JTAG as per my other posts, thanks to all who helped.
