Hi all
Hope someone can help! My box is working almost perfect, apart from there is a very annoying buzz from the tv speakers, and lines running down the screen. When i remove the coaxil cable from the box all is eliminated!(tested with dvd player turned on) Also epg does not work 80% of the time?! Its driving me mad!!! haha (I am running from a satellite splitter-coaxil to the box, all connections etc i have checked and are ok) Thanks in advance!!! Just had a thought....(yes it did hurt!) the picture feed cable, does it have to be some kind of special satellite cable or is normal coaxil ok to use??? I would advise you to use 'satellite' cable for your box as the core make up is different to the copper co-axe you use for nrmal tv

What version of the firmware have you got. 4.53 is better for the epg, although it is still quite slow, it does seem to be better than the other versions.
Also for the buzzing... are you running the box as PAL-I (in user settings/modulator) |

Yes it is on PAL-I rf ch 38, i have tried all the other settings on there and they are all the same! I also tried plugging the satellite cable direct into the tv and the problem is still there, so it looks like it is a problem ntl is causing? API version= 4.513_E Boot version= 7.0 i did try and look for the download section, but couldnt seem to find it??? |

I'm out, sorry..
Have you tried contacting the person you got it from?... maybe there is a fault with the box... Have you tried it on a friends feed? |

Have you tried altering the channel 38 output to something around channel 67, as channel 38 is a bit near Channel 4 television in some parts of the country?
