Isn't there anyone out ther that can tell me yes or no, if I will get anything free if I connect a digital cable box to the old NTL cable?

yes, you will get the normal free channels, but you will have to change the net id and frequency for your area..

You just have to plug it in. Its that simple. I just moved into a house. And before I could even get VM to connect my services, I was using the box from my old place. Just plugged it in and am watching straight away. you even get all the free on demand stuff.

If your not in a pure ntl area you will have to use funcard net id card to set net id. you can also programme card to get a couple of hundred free channels, make sure you get the right box for your area, some pace boxes dont work in different areas.
