Default No signal to DBOX after V+ install

Hello,

I have been running a Nokia Dbox2 for about 4 years with no problems on a downstairs cable connection.

I decided to upgrade to V+, pay the £150 installation price and ask the engineer to install a new point and V+ box upstairs.

My idea was to use the Dbox upstairs on the new point and move the new V+ box downstairs.
The install was quick and the new box is working fine.

Now comes the problem.

The new V+ box will work upstairs and downstairs but the DBox wont work on ether point.

Just in case it was a problem with the Dbox I have tried both points with a Eurovox Max and its just the same.

Eurovox reports no signal.

I have checked the signal path and it all looks ok

What has changed? is it a different modulation type or somthing when you upgrade to V+

Any help would be apprieciated

Cheers
