function of red button on the remote control

Hello All,
I have a Euro-Vox Max V connected to a Virgin Media cable and it works really well: loads of channels. The only thing I don't like it that can't use the "red button" function for interactive. What I mean is when you're watching a program like, say, the snooker on the BBC and they give you the option of which match you'd like to watch by pressing the red button, if I press the red button on my remote I just get functions pertaining to the Eurovox rather than the TV channel. Does anyone know how to change this?
Any advice much appreciated.

The best way to get interactive snooker from the BBC is to switch to your subbed box and watch from there. Alternatively the BBC interactive channels can be found on the Eurovox and they are probably called something like tvch6 or on my box they are named something like BTVService01, when they are not in use they broadcast a sound test saying something like 'three one audio one' with a looping background. When there is some interactive available on the BBC it will appear on one of thses channels.
