hello everyone. i m a newbie. so if my question sounds silly just ignore it thanks.

i have been having problem with my eurovox remote. i know for sure that the remote is not faulty but its something to do with the box or the software coz i bought the new remote a week ago and i also tried the digital camera trick as well.

1.could it be a software problem as i havent flashed or upgraded it for a while. bare in mind that i have already tried to download softwares but bcause i m new member i cant. OR

2.could it be a hardware problem.

oh bytheway the box is eurovox 2 version (the two scart one)

I had to put a front plate from a blue box on 1 last week cus the sensor was faulty, might be that.

Hi SpudGun,

Where did you get the front plate from? I have been looking for the front panel/pcb for a while for my blue box.

I have concluded that the IR sensor is faulty, but don't know what the carrier frequency of the sensor, so don't know which one to buy. Asked questions on this forum but not got any response. The other option is to buy the front panel. Tried ebay etc. Therefore, would be most obliged to know where you bought yours from.

BTW mines a EuroVox max 3 blue box.

1. r u sure guys that it will work for the version 2 as well.

2. and if i wanted to get a new eurovox, where will i get it without being robbed with a clone. i live in west london.

2. Lincsat has a shop on here. He sells only 100% legit!

would there be any store in west london so that i can go and check and buy.
