Sadly I was never exposed to the Amiga's or comodores. My first machine was a S.i.R 486 DX 32, with 4 mb ram and 40 gb hdd, and a 3d accelerator card with 512kb ram. This was amazing by the standards at the time - it was better than any of the RM 286's we had at school.

I still remember playing alone in the dark for the first time and being afraid.

First PC that I bought was from "Dan". 486DX266, 500MB HDD, 64MB RAM.

First Computer I "played with" at work(early 1970s); DEC PDP-11 & in-house built real-time multiprocessor system (24bit) system, using TTL logic chips on pcb cards, in racks of shelves. Each processor comprised 2 shelves of PCBs, and I had to fault find down to individual PCB. Happy days!
