havent got a clue why got 2 saterllites just searched for available saterllites and how do you get patch from pc to receiver as pc upstairs and receiver downstairs.

So you have a fixed dish, with just one LNB pointed at 23.5E then?

In which case you are only getting one satellite. If you select 28E, you will be getting channels from 23.5E, that have the same transponder frequencies.

As far as I know, the patch for your box is no use for 23.5E, I wrongly assumed you had your dish motorised. A laptop is the easiest way, either that, or the PC or the box has to moved. The serial cable won't work if it is too long.

thanks for your help have got all channels except when raining hard (glad its so sunny in the uk) have got 1 m dish now and wife and kids happy and i can watch prem football on sat afternoon (even though real teams play in league 1)
