Default DS810 Issues

Has anyone else experienced the following;

Channels vanishing
Refusing to go into standby
Gettng "incorrect CI" messages for subscription channels (yes, right CAM, Card and up-to-date subscription)

I've only had the thing since mid-October and it's been like this all the time. I know there is the fabled firmware update due sometime in the next century but I want to see if it is just my box that has these problems or if it is all of them.

Since posting the above, I've written to Pace and got a response along the lines of "you need the software upgrade".

I'm now running v1.0.21 which took about 20mins to install and seems so far to have addressed all the issues I had.

The software can be got from

HotBird @ 13.0°E: 12476 H 27500 / PID 1999
Astra 1 @ 19.2°E: 12148 H 27500 / PID 2402
EuroBird 1 @ 28.5°E / Astra 2 @ 28.2°E: 11428 H 27500 / PID 2402

Say "yes" to everything and then leave it to get on - it'll tell you when it's finished by saying "DONE", followed by "Hello!" when it'll switch itself back on.

Hope this is useful to someone.

Does it let you run a T-Rex or a Diablo?

That's all most people are waiting for. Pace better hurry up before Premiere HD goes black.

Can't answer that as I don't have either as yet.

I had enough trouble getting it to work with ViaAccess and Irdeto cams!
