Default Is it just me?

I have several some are flashed, some are not.

The ones that were flashed (infinite) have been recovered using the guide available on this forum (very good work peps and credit to you) and the virgin ones that are untouched.

So why after following the guide, do I still not get a golden handshake and work?

Could it be bad macs I have left my machine running for 2 days and brought down 50,000 in total only for there to be 17 that show a known config file. (should I be using one with a garbled config?)

Even noted the tftp change and also the time servers. Should the serial be the transaction ID?

The nic in the machine has been changed so doubt it could be that, even changed the machine name and the machines, so that should rule that out.

I'm at a loss and could do with some advice, I have read all that is here and in other places and If I had found a working way I would of posted it here for the rest of you good people to enjoy.

There does seem to be alot of ideas on how to but nothing in concrete, I agree that some things may work in certain areas but not all, as for re programing the chip I do have access to the equipment but even that failed. The guy with the equipment is a PLC by trade (very Hi end) and is looking at the info I have and has promised to look at it and see if he can write something and if he does, once tried and tested I will post the info for all.

Sorry forgot to say a250, not risked the 255s yet and the area is knowsley

I've heard that in area's with the random (garbled) config file names, you can no longer force a config, you can only use the config associated with the MAC. The modems may only work with shelled original firmware and not infinite in those area's.
