Funny enough I had a problem entering a new satellite to my SL65, it would not give the option of entering the position of the new sat, but the instructions were confusing! and I messed it up as I only moved on the position of the stored sats so they didn't match, this was only for fixed reception.

How do you stop emails being sent, I get them when there are replies to my posts and every repliy after that, clogging things up a bit

I've tried with a cable with inner conductor of 1,02 mm instead of mine of about 0,6 mm and now the motor is working fine (react at all commands). All was setup in Diseqc 1.2 and was ok on 1st try with this cable.Problem solved

Result Obviously the core wasn't thick enough to make a contact. Well done.

When I press the OK key on the USALS menu, I receive a new one to enter my latitude and logitude. But no menu to add satellite longitude (only change satellite name and add transponders).

Is this possible that's because my cable (from the analog receiver is too thin ??) inner core is about 0,5-0,6 mm width (for 12-13 meters of cable) ??????
Hi Revolter

Did you ever solve the problem of using USALS. I have a smilar problem with a SL65 bought recently from Lidl and the Antenna set up menu is not very clear. I have only enterd my local lat and LOng and assume that the receiver and motor recognise that I have selecdted the satellite name. After that when I have found a satellite I am unable to save it when I press ok and then exit sveral times to get back to the channel view.

I have been able to find and save using Disecq 1.2 Turksat 42E. Atlantic Bird, Siruius 5 E and Atlantic Bird 5w which is just 0.7 degrees east from my long of 5.66w and 54.6N. However when I try to find Astra 2 I get the Astra 1 channels from Germany and when I try to find the German channels I get the Astra 2 english channels. How can this be. Could there be a problem with receiver stored positions or some conflict with Maplin HH90 motor stored postions. I have sued another receiver to test motor and using Disecq 1.2 have found the Astra 1 and 2 as per appropraite channels.

Grateful for any advice epsecially how you managed to do the screen grab as well which would help me to highlight my problem as the Sl65 manaul contains little or no detail on antenna setup.

Thanks
