I have a tms1000d+.Which cards can I use in the card slot.Also what do they do.

You can use a variety of subscription cards, the most popular being DigitAlb, which shows a lot of the English Premiership football.

Thanks Mickha.Although I get good reception from most east and west sats .I can only get six channels on 16 e.Tv1 to Tv5.Only TVSH-SAT is veiwable 38% quality.I presume that my dish is too small.So untill I get a bigger dish I have been looking at other options,Such as patching.Will a sky card work in the tms1000 d.My system is tms1000d+ 60 cm dish stabhh 90 .thanks ray.

I have just got my answer from Roberto881 .Help piz post.robbo 71 states that the tms1000 cannot receive sky.T looks like i am going to have a go at patching.I am a little reluctant be cause I blew my receiver by upgradeing it.It was a skyline dsr 4000.

Whoever he was, did he say that you could use a sky card in a TM1000D+ ?. I would be interested to know.


Yes patching is done at your own risk, though it will never blow it up. Do it wrong though and it could stop it working.The procedure itself is very easy though, there is a sticky in this section.

hello robbo.I ment that you answered my question"will a sky card work with the tms100". The post by roberto881,Help plz, is in satellite for beginners.Posted 19,11,07.Regarding my skyline receiver It seems to be a clone of something else.I upgraded It on hot bird, as instructed in the manual.After which the remote do'snt work.it is stuck on hotbird.I can change channels with the buttons on the box. But not change satellites because I cannot get into the menu.I think that It has upgraded back to It's daddy.ray

i've had most cards like viaccess, seca 2, conax and they have worked fine in my tm1500ci

Ahh, you mean robert0881 not roberto881

Yes thats right, it can't do Sky cards. But plenty of others as wod says.

There are some boxes that do apparentlt, the Vantage I believe, which wod has, and the Octagon ( as far as I know).
