Default Tuner module for Logik LCD set

Having tried everywhere else (including an amusing wild goose chase provided by Currys) I'm here hoping someone can help me locate a digital (freeview) tuner module for a 'Logik' LCXW30NN6 30 inch LCD TV.

When I bought the set a couple of years ago it came with an analogue tuner module that had to be screwed in to place. The option of a digital tuner was mentioned in the instructions. I note that the same set is now offered on the Currys web site with a digital tuner included as standard.

Therefore... it must be possible to obtain the tuner module from somewhere but I'm blowed if I can find it.

Half the trouble seems to be that (as I expected) 'Logik' isn't a real manufacturer - it's a 'brand' used by Currys and Comet and the paperwork that came with the set is careful not to give away the true source of the product.

Any thoughts gratefully received...

I know it's a bit of a long shot, but have you tried putting chasis or various part numbers into a search engine? This method has, for me at least, produced good results in the past.

RayB, thanks for your reply. I've tried to locate it this way, but I haven't had much luck. I did find a place that sold replacement parts for the display panel but nothing else.

Best,
Justin
