Edision/Smart EMU coming?

Hello all,

I updated my receiver with the EDISION firmware and everything is working well, but now I tried to download a *.ke* file, result: nothing.
From Nachtfalke I downloaded the k*y file and the caslink software, who seems to be very usefull. The problem is that I don't get connection at the moment I select "connect" in the program. The RS232 cable I use is the same cable I always use to update my receiver. Do I need to select something in the receiver before I try to connect and download or what do I have to do? Anyone can help me?

you need to convert your softcam.key in to a PatchData.bin then use keylogo.exe to upload the keys to the box.

is it working with the origional remote or do you need a universal one

and is premiere AU still working as its not on my truman patch atm

The original remote works but the buttons have changed around a bit. See Maiden's satboard for details.

Pr*m is AU, as is T_P_S, but maybe not Polsat. If you use Truman 1.3.84, all are AU.

cool as its my second stb still had it set up with the old vampier firimware

is there any way to back up my listing first ?

Sorry, Arden, the Truman/Comag channel lists are not easily transferable to Smart FW. Some people are sticking with Truman for that reason.

There is an editor called SetEditMX04 which will edit the Smart channels very well, but it costs €24. There are no pirated copies available. With the demo version you can edit 19 channels, save, exit, reload and edit another 19, over and over again as many times as you can stand.

The Smart FW will import SatcoDX data if you've got that.

Edision Tyran is supposed to work (after being patched with Ali Universal Fixer 1.3b), but I can't get a signal out of the tuner on my SL65/12 B1, whereas patched Smart MX03 FW works fine. Others have succeeded with Tyran/MX04 and you may be lucky. Much more detail available on Maiden's satboard, as I think you know.
