Newbie in JTAG ... 1st

Hello there mate ...

Im now Exploring in JTAG here my some Question how to do it ..

1. Whats Good JTAG to use?
2. Where can I buy GOOD JTAG?
3. How to Determine the board like 4000, 4010, 2700 etc.?

I have the hardware, but I've not used it myself.

For the jtag I recommend ordering from Lincsat.

Look at threads for lincsat's nick naks.

If you look at the bottom (on pace boxes) you will see a model number i.e. DiTV-4000

thats a 4000 box which can be jtag'd inside.

if you require anymore help just ask.

I'm Jtag'ing 4 boxes per day so I can guide you through as I do it.

There are jtag tuts in downloads with pics.

look at the bottom of the case and it will tell you what the box is.
Once you know this tell us on here and we will be able to direct the responses correctly and help you better.

At the moment your question is like me saying "I have a computer but it wont boot up?"

It's such an open question that the response's could be incorrect/or the wrong information.
