Haha. I always knew you were right Sid.

I was just meaning recording to an external device. ie. stand alone PVR.

Viewing sat and recording terrestrial on PVR, or vice versa.

Hi yorks,there is the usb 1s that are made now,so i would say yes.Iv the older 1s so mine wont do that.

Satsid - I understand you have Eycos, how does this compare to Vantage you think?

By the way, how was upscaling on Eycos? Did you get a much improved pic?

I got the vantage 221 s ci the one with out the DVB-T tuner and i love it im going to buy another this week

yes its a nice receiver just that i'm starting to have an issue with it on a diseqc motor, seems it doesn't like the moteck motor i have

Hi sorry im a bit late on this one, i ve had a X201 fta for awhile now, just got it out of the box and spent a day playing with it. very impressed !! My next move is to put it on a stab motor, did you resolve your motor problem ? Have you heard of any other motor compatibility problems ?

I've not resolved it but think the motor is just knackered as its now playing up when i connect my technomate receiver to the motor

it should be fine as i looked at the notes included with the software upgrades and it just mentioned the moteck diseqc motor issues.

i'm going to try a stab motor if i can find one cheap enough as they are more expensive than the others
