I've done 3 boxes now with the updates available and the screen does freeze up a bit when there messing with the codes.

The emulator needs to do its job and emulate the codes. A subbed box has the correct card and EMMs and ECMs do not affect it in the same manner, softcams work in a different manner. It AUs so just have to put up with it for now.

Some firmware is better than others but your box has the latest at the moment.

Hi satsmo, thanks for the advice, I reset the factory settings and then uploaded again and it worked brilliantly, no glitches anymore neither.....

Hi there . . .Im a bit of a newb at this type of thing . . I have a starview original, not a clone and recently it has lost all channels and says data is being updated, this stays on the screen and doesnt change unless i press menu or exit . . this problem was fixed for me by a friend a month ago and has now re-occured im in a telewest area, i have rescanned, my emu is on . . could someone please help me ???

You need to update to CryptstarV4 for a genuine box.

Hannibel85..........If you have a genuine Starview 1, then the latest update file for this is cryptstar-v1.4,along with the GTRom v 4.00 Loader after you have downloaded this software Leave it for a moment until it says download complete, do a full auto scan, then menu 1570, scroll down to Emu and turn from off to on, before you exit it is wise to press default keys also, go to a $ channels and wait for it to update..
