Hi,

28E for FTA English channels.

but one or two on some of the other satellites.

FlySat United Kingdom TV Channels

I don't know too much about football, its usually subscription or via a patched receiver or CAM, from many different sats.

This link tells you where and when for most matches.

Cant really help on the football (think its 16 east) If you want the free stuff in english then its 28 east and being as you already have a FTA sky card on order I would use a second hand sky box off ebay. as for a dish a sky mini dish will do also on ebay. for better reception in bad weather go for a 60cm dish

a patched receiver is one that has been connected to a PC and had the soft wear altered so it can decode certain encrypted channels (nothing from sky before you ask ) not all receiver can be patched and there is no guarantee how long the patch will work for.

A cam is a device that fits into a receiver and allows you to use an official subscription card from different satellite company's.

Have a look in the Technomate section, and in the stickies you should find plenty of info there. Also have a look in the CAMs section. A forum search for 'patch' should give you plenty also.

Certain CAMs can be used to not only take an official card such as DigitalB (16E) but can also be reprogrammed to perform like a patch. The Diablo and Trex are good examples.

Don't know if your receiver is patchable but someone will.

if you have a motorised setup the world is open to you, but ther are still some Free english channels that will require a sky box and FTA card to be seen. Channel 4/5 etc. but you can use the same feed from your dish to feed the sky box.
