eurovox max 3 to video recorder

having a problem tuning my box into video recorder .This is only a recent problem as it has always been channel 6 on video recorder after the other 5 terrestrial channels. I have tried a scan on the video recorder but it is only picking up the 5 terrestrial channels, dont know why it is not picking up the box as it always has before.My box is working perfectly but quite frustrating that i can now only record from the 5 mainstream channels.I had decorators in recently and i am not 100% sure if i have put all the right connections back in the right places although both my tv and box are working perfectly.
any info would be gratefully received.

If you are not seeing any output from the box during a scan on your video recorder then it looks like you dont have connections right,if you have more than one scart connection on the VCR,try another socket or indeed another channel than 6 perhaps ....all basic stuff I know but cant think of anything else ....

Are you tuning your VCR into a channel output from your box by RF and not using Scart? Scart outputs are usually AV2 or something similar. The channel output from sat boxes can usually be altered so can you try to get your VCR to accept a particular channel, say Number 67 and then alter the output of your box until someting comes up on the VCR? - just a thought.
