2110 showing no channels - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

Just got hold of a second box, a 2110. Frequency is set the same as mine, but no channels show up. Well, I can see the channels on the epg, and go onto each one, but its a blank screen and no sound.
Any ideas?

Cant you even see free channells 101 etc, i take it net id is right if you see epg, try scart in other socket on box, its usually AV channell on tv.

I can see the epg for 101, just a blank screen though. All the Vm channels like PIN help and film previews are showing, even the radio stations are working.
Tried the other scart, it didn't even register on my TV when I done it that way.

Must be a fault with box, if its all set up correct you should get free channels.

Iv just got a sammy 2100c. I have done the netid update using a fun and it is set OK, and frequency set OK for my aea but it is not updating any firmware and gives error that has no channels. Not even free ones. BOx was working OK on NTL and now trying it on TW but not showing channels. Engineers menu shows streams and network information shows as found and has DVB lock.

Should it still work on TW?

According to the box type list they only work in pure ntl or ex c&w.
Can anyone confirm this ? The 2100.

Have you tried a different scart lead, or tuning the tv into it with coax cable connection ?
