Hi
Just upgraded my DBox2 from Commando 8.2 to 9.25 and ftp'd my keys etc back but bugga me I still can't get half my channels to play. Done another successful service scan. Rescanned my channels. Checked file permissions that I can remember. But still problem! Any ideas? Am I screwed if I Clear My Public Keys? I've used a combo of the keys from Lincsat Beta 5 and V++ 3.2 as before. I've got Samsung 2xI box which works ok. Last edited by poo; 24-11-07 at 08:20 PM. |

Shame as 9.x has the EPG working on all the Sky Movie channels but 8 doesn't. Also tried CableFerret but couldn't get any channels to work. |

I noticed it was part of the cable section after posting, when I read Nagra I assumed you were discussing Nagravision 2 encryption so I immediately deleted my post, but not quick enough as obviously you read it in the 30 seconds it was posted.

I've not used commando for some time - but it should work if you use the same keys as in the older version.
The cableferret in the downloads has the keys in it - you need to either change the Ucode or change the SPTS mode in most cases to get the encrypted channels working.

Hi. I quoted you from the email I received.
Hey Johny. I've tried different ucodes, 0014 seems to give me the best results with yWeb Live TV. But I'll try 001A again as Lincsat said something similar. Commando 9 keeps rebooting me back into 0014 when I select 001A or any other Ucode for that matter. Quote:
Does it make any difference which AvIA Driver I use? I still think Commando is my fav. I'll post my results. The whole reason I was upgrading was due to channels freezing up from time to time or the odd scratchy sound. Last edited by poo; 25-11-07 at 06:13 PM. |

Update:
All channels seem to be working now. Can't say there was any magic setting just changing and restarting stuff. SPTS (whatever that is) left off finally. Changed to Commando 9.25 and then I could change the Ucode and AvIA Driver. Maybe I messed with something I shouldn't have before. Last edited by poo; 26-11-07 at 10:08 AM. |
