Has anyone heard any roomers that sky plan to do special offers for multi room subscriptions soon?

According to a post over on the DS forum, Sky are offering multiroom for a fiver BUT you have to have had the mailshot to get it - they check the account, & no mailshot no discount.

Rubbish theres offers galore around. Ive got movies & sports turned on my card for 2 weeks at the moment. Havent got the faintest interest in either so havent bothered with it.

Yes, I have too, anything to lure you in.

I have even had a couple of 'cold calls', but you have to yes on the spot or you can't have it at a later date.

There are offers for discounted Sky+ and SkyHD when taking multi-room (and when taking SkyTalk and Broadband) - although Sky+ is only £49 to new and existing subscribers up to Christmas

I stopped sky ringing me with the "would you like to upgrade from your current subscription" calls (we have the family pack) by telling them their movies were rubbish and I didnt like football. It left the call centre girlie rather lost for words. That was a year ago and they havent rung me since!

Yes, thats similar to what I said to them, but then changed my mind thinking it would be nice to have a few movies over Christmas (last year), but they wouldn't let me have it at the offer price when I phoned them. So I had to pay more. But most of the movies were cr@p and it was a waste of money.
