Default rs232 cable

hi guys ... sorry to bother youz again .. but need to know if the rs232 cable is the one i use to flash the dbox.. any other tips would also be grateful...

you will also need crossover network cable to
you can flash box just by using this if you know the ip of your box did you get the pm i sent you m8

do you know the chip of your box sagems can be eighther 1x or 2x chips nokias are all 2x chips

crossover cable is just an direct ethernet cable can get em from maplins

i also recommend you use both with image flash assistant.it will create its own ip address without you having to input one.after you have flashed then you will have to go into menu then system folder not service and change your ip there to 192.168.0.10 .but the commy will not recognize so the best way to do it is go into your network connection in your installed ethernet card on the commy and go to properties then go to internet protocol setting and click properties and use the following ip address of 192.168.0.1 and it will get its own subnet mask and put default gateway as 192.168.0.1 as well.then you want to activate the setting on the box and then you want to go go my computer and type f.t.p//192.168.0.10(no dots between the f,t and p just wont let me type it) and it will ask for user and pass which is normally root and dbox2 then u can install service and cable xmls as you wish.the password may be different depending on image
